Kanye West wanted to turn a Tadao Ando villa into an air raid shelter
This was said by a former employee who denounced Ye

According to a report by TMZ, Kanye West is at the center of a new lawsuit filed against him. This time, it is not suppliers complaining about missing payments, but a former co-worker Ye hired to supervise work on his Malibu mansion. According to Tony Saxon, West allegedly forced him to work sixteen hours a day inside the mansion, making him sleep on the floor using a jacket instead of blankets. After being paid for only one week's work, the two came to blows in November 2021, when West demanded that the windows of the mansion be removed along with the electricity.
Saxon allegedly expressed his doubts about Ye's demands and the dangers that would ensue, prompting the rapper to raise his voice by demanding that the man move power generators into the house that could start a fire inside the home. In the complaint obtained by TMZ, Saxon further recounts that West allegedly threatened him, telling him that if he refused to do as requested he would become 'an enemy' of the rapper.
The villa in question is one designed by Japanese architect Tadao Ando and purchased by Kanye in September 2021 for $57.3 million. Overlooking the Californian beach, the house houses four rooms and four bathrooms, with a total of 370 square meters overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Among the special features of the structure is its concrete composition, which gives the building a brutalist character, and its construction raised off the ground. Given the beauty of the structure, West's claims cited by Tony Saxon seem even more questionable.
