Atelier New Regime's FW20 collection

When we talk about streetwear, we don't often think of Canada as fertile territory for the birth of interesting brands with something to say, an assumption that couldn't be more wrong.

The perfect example is Atelier New Regime, a brand founded and based in Montreal, which since 2009 offers a very refined aesthetic, and that has made orange its signature shade. The design of the brand has always been multidisciplinary, in a melting pot of inspirations ranging from the world of art to that of music, to become an accurate reflection of contemporary life.

ANR unveils now the campaign dedicated to the FW20 collection and entitled The Birth Of A New Regime. The brand tackles issues such as freedom and resilience, making wise use of slogans and graphics, and drawing inspiration from classic artistic imagery of European tradition. The collection is also characterized by a very high level of quality, obtained for the first time thanks to production in Portugal.

Inspired by my own story, ’The Birth Of A New Regime’ is a recollection of personal experiences on this constant quest for peace, happiness and freedom, said Koku Awuye, co-founder and creative director of the brand.
