adidas Running unveils the Ultraboost 19 'Bat Orchid'

A brand new limited edition colorway

adidas Running unveils the Ultraboost 19 'Bat Orchid' A brand new limited edition colorway

After unveiling the evolution of the Ultraboost technology with the innovative silhouette Ultraboost 19, adidas Running announces the release of Bat Orchid, the latest reiteration of the shoe, redesigned and reimagined in this strictly limited edition colorway, available from February 1st. The new Bat Orchid combines style and performance, to create a unique silhouette designed with the female runner in mind, available also in a male version. The design is inspired by the flower of the same name, beautiful and rare, like the adidas runner it refuses to be defined.

The silhouette was created starting from four key components, which make it the best running shoe ever. The new Torsion Spring System designed to offer enhanced responsiveness and propulsion. The Optimized BOOST midsole is constructed with 20% more BOOST, meaning even more energy return, combined with a new 3D Heel Frame for greater support and adaptability. This is completed by a revolutionary one-piece, lightweight Primeknit 360 upper, offering runners the perfect mix of comfort and performance.

Exclusively for SUEDE Store to launch this new release, four digital art makers created special artworks which portray through different styles and visual arts the main characteristics and features of Ultraboost 19 Bat Orchid.

Patrick Foley (aka. Patrick 4D) is a 3D generalist based in Atlanta, known for his abstract hyper-realistic 3D creations. As a film director and director of photography, the transition to 3D work a few years back was more seamless, as a prior knowledge of lighting, composition, and camera settings was previously attained in the film industry.

Madelaine Buttini is a visual artist from Brisbane, Australia currently exploring hand cut and digital collage using vintage and modern materials. Her work reflects upon the challenges she has faced as a friend, girlfriend and woman. Madelaine aspires to bring a moment of happiness and hope from her artwork.

Camilla Falsini was born in Rome, where she lives and works. She moves between illustration and painting. Her work is characterized by clean lines, stylized and minimal shapes with strong colors. After classical studies and a diploma in illustration from the IED in Rome, she started working as an illustrator, collaborating with some agencies, publishing houses, companies, newspapers, and magazines.

Yaser Ahmady is an Italian Persian digital polymath from Bergamo. Co-founder of UGO, a tech start-up, he thinks (he hopes) to be worth more than his productivity. He loves holographic things and has a deep 90s nostalgia.
