How are you living the quarantine: fears and dreams?

Quarantine life has been for me a rollercoaster of emotions and sentiments. My life before was very frenetic and this new situation has brought me to stop and think deeply, realizing the value of time and the importance of human relations. In these past weeks I have been extremely touched by all the pain around the world: thinking about the people we lost and their families that are suffering and also about all the courageous ones that continue working every day, putting themselves under constant risks. Although these days have been characterized by silence and loneliness, at the same time they have been defined by support and pride to be part of our community. I preferred waiting some time before answering this questionnaire because my feelings have changed a lot in the last week. Although the future is still very uncertain, I project myself towards it and I accept and embrace the change, seeing it as a challenge. This is the only successful way to react to this situation, by continuing to dream and to look towards the future with positivity and hope, with a strong desire to rebuild our world in a better place to be.

What is your soundtrack?

In this period I love listening to great piano players such as Chopin and Schumann: my grandmother and brother used to play the piano and listening to this kind of music gives me security and tranquillity. If I should just pick a soundtrack of my quarantine, it would be - Another Day in Paradise, Phil Collins.
