How has your everyday-life changed? What do you do to fulfill your day?
I had to reinvent my everyday life, after a first lack of direction I decided to plan my daily activities so to not waste time. In the morning I spend my time reading and studying, in the afternoon I take care of the house, I do some gardening and other hobbies. Quite often I play with cards or other tables games with my girlfriend, this is something I haven’t done for so long. In the evening I do some exercise at home or outdoor and we do some happy hour while we cook the dinner. Cooking is probably the activity me and my girlfriend like the most to occupy our time. After dinner we watch some tv series or some movies.
Your work is built on creativity. While we’re all in quarantine, what is your solution to keep on being creative? Where do you find your inspiration in this moment?
I am worried for my parents and my family which I only see in video calls but I am also afraid of losing my job and that the small company I am working for it won’t be able to survive this crisis. I look at the future in a positive way, it is the present that scares me more.
What is your biggest fear right now?
In this period I have noticed how important it is the human contact, to appreciate things and landscapes that surround us, how people act and behave, all this stimulates our creativity. I miss a lot talking to people. What I can do now is doing research on the internet and a lot of reading, which is something good but not as good as meeting and talking to people. I believe that is something you get used to but we are not used to feed our creativity this way.
What will you do once all of this is over?
I hope in big changes after this period and that all the people who said they have been thinking a lot will keep doing it also after this period will be over, without forgetting about it. I believe that we need a reconciliation with the world we live in. I am conscious that big changes happen in a long period of time, we need drastic changes that can not happen in a day but I am confident that we will make it.
