Today, shortly after 9:30 am, a week after the Global Climate Strike, Fridays for Future activists took to the streets to demonstrate with a march in conjunction with the holding of the United Nations summits that are being held these days in Milan: the Pre-Cop26 and the Youth4Climate, both organized in view of the Cop26 in Glasgow. Since this morning, the young Milanese who participated in the student procession gathered in Largo Cairoli, near the Castello Sforzesco, led in their march by Greta Thunberg, Vanessa Nakate, and other activists who have recently come to Milan from all over the world. There were many emotions during the event, there was life, a desire for the new and change. Young people want to be heard and in Milan, we saw it, the number of students who participated in the protest was impressive, many came from outside to listen to the activists who were present. It is a moment of unity, as one young boy said "participating in climate protests gives me a sense of hope, I see young people fighting for a single goal, allowing to represent each other."
