Nissan 3E

Annonced for the Tokyo Motor Show

Nissan also is about to enter full force into the world of wearable devices with its own pair of glasses alternatives to Google Glass . They are called Nissan 3E , aesthetically resemble the product of Google and were shown by the famous car with a video teaser just shared . Nissan will put on display at the 43rd Tokyo Motor Show, which will start in about two weeks. Nissan (which innovation is betting much of its resources , from 100% electric cars such as the Nissan Leaf ) is no stranger to wearable products since September had already presented its own smartwatch dedicated to the driver. Even the augmented reality glasses are designed for use in the car: the features are not yet clear , since the teaser trailer reveals very little.

Nissan E3 could be used by the driver to receive information on the location , speed and direction, as well as the average fuel consumption statistics and other data; might work in a similar way to Google Glass , but given the previous efforts of the automobile is more likely that only concentrates on feature related to driving. Aesthetically similar to the device of Google, the system of Nissan will be positioned on the left eye of the wearer , and not on the right as it does for Glass.

More information on Nissan's smart glasses will be shared between the 20 and 23 November , which is when the Tokyo auto show will open its doors to the press and public. Curiously, one of the largest car manufacturers is investing strongly in wearable gadgets , so as to anticipate it already the new market trend that will see , already in 2014 , more and more devices of this kind available in stores. Automotive and innovation , after all, go hand in hand : the houses are betting on new technologies have already put one foot in the industry's future.
