XL EXTRALIGHT® and RAL7000STUDIO present a new creative platform At SOLE DXB, the annual footwear and lifestyle trade fair in Dubai

On the occasion of SOLE DXB - DUBAI, the annual footwear, music, art and lifestyle fair that will be held from 9 to 11 December 2022 in Dubai, XL EXTRALIGHT® and RAL7000STUDIO will present the world premiere of the new XL-FRAMEWORK creative platform, born as a natural evolution of the creative relationship - started more than a year ago - between the Italian leading company in the sector of ultra-lightweight materials, and the esteemed creative collective. The meeting between XL EXTRALIGHT® and RAL7000STUDIO has long aimed at discovering new ways to conceive innovative footwear products, from conception to production and communication, pushing forward the boundaries of injection molding technology and its narrative. The designers of RAL7000STUDIO reinvent the pioneering trainer aesthetic, applying their unique touch to XL EXTRALIGHT® creations and sharing driven concepts to spread a new cultural language with digital and offline activities.

XL-FRAMEWORK is a creative platform that embodies the partnership between these two Italian excellences, with the primary objective of enhancing the brand's vision on a global scale and empowering a new sense of experimental creativity applied to footwear products. In the context of 'computer language', the word 'Framework' represents a platform that functions as an intermediate layer between an operating system and software. The development of the XL-FRAMEWORK concept will then be presented at Sole DXB, the legendary annual footwear, music, art and lifestyle festival in the Dubai Design District in Dubai, UAE. On this occasion, XL EXTRALIGHT® and RAL7000STUDIO will present the FRAME model, a hybrid running shoe made of XL EXTRALIGHT® OrganixTM 3. 0 - the new formula composed of 30% circular biological raw materials derived from the recovery of waste/by-products from agricultural or forestry activities or from the biodegradable fraction of urban and industrial waste (used cooking oil from fryers and canteens for example) - where lifestyle and trail run world blend together to share an innovative hyper- design, featuring bold shapes and an essential silhouette.

Another theme of the collaboration is closely related to the payoff “LOVE XL”, an inclusive message about the passion for modern design philosophy and product innovation to be shared throughout the community.
