5 cose da fare a Milano questo weekend Dal 12 al 15 maggio

We've probably jinxed ourselves with all that talk of summer the past few weeks and the weather doesn't promise clear skies for this Milan weekend. But you know by now that our guide knows no seasons, so here are 5 things to do in Milan despite the rain:

To Eat - SideWalk Kitchens

SideWalk Kitchens is a food collective consisting of four kitchens and a cafeteria, inhabited by gastronomic innovators, serving superior food and drinks. The 80-seat food court at Via Bonvesin de la Riva 3 in Milan hosts exclusive partners from breakfast, lunch, aperitif and dinner.

To Discover - Drama

A concentrate of international queerness between burlesque, drag and the performing arts, Drama arrives at BASE with a unique show: drag queen & drag king, lip sync, live music, burlesque, stand-up comedy and much more in a strongly inclusive show full of unfailing off-shows and surprises.

Via Bergognone, 34

To Chill - Parigi Dolci

Although the name may be misleading, Parigi Dolci is one of the most significant Japanese cake shops that has become famous for its modern design and the possibility of eating sweets and drinks on the spot in full kawaii style and ordering huge cakes in the shape of Sanrio characters.

Via Messina, 20

To Shop - bASAr

The bASAr is a market along the lines of the Charity shops in Anglo-Saxon countries that ASA Onlus organises to finance its activities and projects on the second Saturday of each month from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the ASA headquarters in Milan, Via Arena 25. At the market you can find a bit of everything: new and used books at bargain prices, objects, used and new clothes, bags, hats, shoes, and often fabulous bargains at modest prices. Participating is an opportunity to get to know and support the AIDS Solidarity Association, to gather information and to do good business as well as to be in good company.

To Club - Look at me

At Club Plastic, this Friday contemporary art joins music in an unprecedented marriage, through a format of 3 exhibitions, curated by Sara Van Bussel and with the artistic direction of Manuela Nobile, in the historic Milanese club to bring artistic performance closer to night life.
