FKA Twigs for Nike Women

FKA Twigs is the creative director of the campaign "Do you believe in more?" by Nike Women for Spring Zonal Strength Tights. The star has created, directed, performed and soundtracked an exclusive series of videos along with a cast of 12 professional dancers and various kinds of sports, from athletics karate, from fencing to yoga. For her, these young people who train and pay great attention to their physical represent modern movement, which she defines as "the exploration of any genre of sport without boundaries”. Since the beginning, the artist was excited to participate in this project, as she herself says: “When Nike reached out to me about collaborating on this project, I saw it as an opportunity to inspire people who want to use their bodies in a positive way. We cast a group of amazing people who take their physicality seriously and have their own sense of style, to push people to be healthy and understand, through any genre of sport, they can be the best versions of themselves”. So what is the real concept behind "Do you believe in more?”. FKA Twigs explains it. The campaign refers to a girl who grew up looking different from everybody else around me, who wanted to do things no one else wanted to do in a small town, who didn't grow up with lots of money, but just had so much determination and hope inside herself. "I wanted to do more with my life. I wanted to do everything”.
