In the past few days in Paris, the launch event of Katkoot Champagne took place at Vecchio, an exclusive experience reserved for only 70 selected guests with a unique menu featuring surprisingly black-colored dishes, complementing the tasting of the new Katkoot Champagne Dosage Zero Premier Cru. Katkoot is an independent Italian wine brand founded in 2018 by brothers Francesco and Giovanni Leonardo, known for its unique handcrafted metal-based bottles produced in Morocco. Among the distinguished guests at the event were Michele Lamy and Rick Owens, Matthew Williams, Ludovic de Saint Sernin, Nicolas di Felice, jewelry designers Marco Panconesi and Gabriele Esposito, as well as actor and influencer Luka Sabbat. The event marked a significant collaboration between Katkoot and Vecchio, going beyond the product presentation and fully embodying the essence of Katkoot as a community of individuals with a voice, a movement, and a unique identity at the intersection of various worlds, such as art, music, and gastronomy.

The presentation of the hand-numbered bottles, limited with untreated bronze bases for each disgorgement, suggests the passage of time and creates unique natural variations over time. This wine represents an authentic blend of art and wine, with a cuvée from the 2017 harvest and three personally selected reserve wines. Essential to its exceptional quality is the aging process of at least six years on the lees, imparting depth and complexity to the product. Katkoot Champagne is characterized by a zero dosage, pure and defined in taste, originating from the prestigious Premier Cru region of Chigny-les-Roses, reflecting tradition, quality, authenticity, and sustainability.
