1017 Alyx 9SM has a new investor Matthew Williams is announcing it

Matthew M. Williams, the creative director of Givenchy and co-founder of 1017 Alyx 9SM, announces a partnership with the renowned Hong Kong entrepreneur, Adrian Cheng. CEO of New World Development and Chow Tai Fook, as well as a renowned collector of contemporary art, Cheng is thus expanding his fashion empire. The move will certainly affect the brand's presence in the Asian market (Cheng is also the founder of Hong Kong's colossal K11 Art Mall) but is likely aimed at expanding the brand, which may now relocate its offices to Paris, open its first boutique, and expand into high-end luxury through a new offering of accessories, jewelry, and shoes.

More details about the partnership have not been made public yet; what we know is that the entrepreneur has acquired a majority stake in 1017 Alyx 9SM. «I am thrilled to embark on this journey that celebrates talent and contributes to the evolution of the fashion industry. 1017 ALYX 9SM, under the creative direction of Matthew Williams, embodies the spirit of innovation that I love to support,» Cheng declared. Matthew Williams, the creative force behind 1017 ALYX 9SM, expressed enthusiasm for the partnership, stating, «Collaborating with Adrian Cheng opens optimistic possibilities for the future of our brand. We share a common vision in pushing boundaries and creating a significant impact in the fashion industry.»
