How to promote the creatives of tomorrow with Fashion Graduate Italia And the Beyond Fashion Prize established by nss

nss was born over 10 years ago from the spontaneous observation of the trend and subculture collector that is the street. Over time, it expands and grows, but the starting point remains the same: the street and the diverse, often very young characters who animate it. Due to its nature of cultural hunting, the media over the years becomes a partner in initiatives that support new creatives and the institutions that help them establish themselves in a complex industry. This is the case with Fashion Graduate Italia, the first fashion week open to the city and dedicated to discovering tomorrow's talents, of which nss is a partner for the second consecutive year. The event is organized by Piattaforma Sistema Formativo Moda Ente del Terzo Settore (ETS), a hub that brings together the best Italian post-diploma educational institutions and academies in the fashion sector, and is sponsored by the Lombardy Region and the City of Milan. Three days, from October 24 to 26, are dedicated to fashion shows, talks, masterclasses, workshops, and job placements, with a packed schedule of events united by a single mission: to connect the educational system and the industry, creating competitive professional skills to innovate the fashion system. The guiding theme of the ninth edition, hosted at BASE Milano and streamed on www.fashiongraduate.it, is "Do You Remember the Future?"

Young Italian and international talents from the best fashion schools and academies will present themselves through projects and presentations in a physical and digital showcase, celebrating and rethinking the past to explore the relationship between memory and contemporaneity and chart new creative paths. The past and the future are two key concepts for the work and vision of these young talents. It is increasingly urgent to think about what the future that the fashion system envisions holds in store, in the hands of today's students, who have the challenging task of rethinking their work in new and conscious ways. "Do You Remember the Future" is an invitation to face tomorrow by seeking new paths to realize their aspirations. To celebrate the most deserving talents of the Fashion Graduate Italia contest, nss has launched the Beyond Fashion Prize: a platform and a concrete growth opportunity within the industry. Three finalists will receive an interview on nss magazine, in the section dedicated to the new faces of the Beyond Fashion industry, along with an editorial produced by the nss magazine and nss gallery team. The prize winner will also receive a website - produced by Brownie (the digital department of the nss group) - to showcase and sell their collection, completely free of charge.

On Tuesday, October 24, at 6:30 PM at Base Milano, nss will also moderate a talk focused on possible future scenarios of creativity, in conversation with stylist Nick Cerioni, Achille Lauro, and Martina Capriotti from Mirta. You can follow the talk via streaming on www.fashiongraduate.it.
