A new chapter of WP Stories tells the story of Vans in Italy

This spring WP Stories decided to celebrate the bond between Vans and Italy, dedicating the eighth episode of WP Stories to the arrival of the American brand in Europe. Vans and WP: when Californian aesthetics met Italian style rewrites the history of Vans starting with exclusive interviews with expert and collector Henry Davies and Steve Van Doren, Vice President Events & Promotions, to ask the Vans insiders in which direction the brand is looking, and what have been the strengths that have made it an undisputed champion in the world of sportswear. 

The new episode follows a narrative that is completely projected into the future of Vans and WP, but captures some of the highlights that have marked its history. Founded in 1966 in California, Vans was founded with the aim of supporting surfer and skater athletes with functional and authentic clothing with respect to style and sportiness. The brand arrived in Italy in the 1980s, when the brands group WP decided in 1983 to land with Vans in Europe. From this moment on, WP and Vans have given rise to a series of successful collaborations, such as the one with Enzo Fusco. The episode was released on 15 May on the WP Stories website.
