In the fashion world it's totally normal: what just a few seasons before was considered hideous and uncool, over the course of a few years becomes the biggest trend on fashion magazines, catwalks and social media. It's time we apologized with our dads, but on the other hand we have already a few ideas for their birthday gifts. 

The hottest accessory of the past seasons has been undoubtly the waist bag, perfect both for men and women. Sporty in nylon, in ultra luxe leather, colorful, to wear around the waist or on the shoulder, it has become the favourite accessory of the most fashionable celebs, from A$AP Rocky to Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, from Kim Kardashian to Sofia Richie, to the undoubted queen of waist bags, Kendall Jenner. 

Born in the 80s as a sporty and technical item, the waist bag was never considered trendy or fashionable, in fact it did not resurface until the beginning of the 2000s. Between the nostalgia for a vintage and retro fashion and the "normcore" trend, which favors minimal and normal clothes, the waist bag is now a total must-have.

Classic, iconic, sporty and elegant at the same time: the Prada waist bag is back in its signature material, nylon. Price: 490€.

90s colors and silhouette: a throwback to a colorful and funny decade. Basically evertything you need. Price: 84,90€. 

 

Balenciaga 

The classic tourist waist bag has now become cool, and it was only thanks to Balenciaga and its logo. A basic item that has to be in your closet. Price: 550€.
