An unusual but now consolidated collaboration is born between the famous sneaker brand Vans and one of the most famous cartoons in television history, Peanuts.
Vans x Peanuts comes back to celebrate Halloween and Christmas with a fun and colorful collection.
The protagonists, Snoopy and Woodstock, are mummies and, in a phosphorescent versVans x Peanuts collectionion, customize the Sk8-Hi Zip. The Classic Slip-On is characterized by the fleece tail on the heel, while the Old Skool V features adjustable velcro closures.
To anticipate the Christmas holiday, Vans presents a series of garments and sneakers that reproduce the original drawings of special Christmas banners: in Old Skool, the Peanuts' band is illustrated in the memorable dance scene taken by the episode Charlie Brown's Christmas; hats, socks, sweaters that in the colors of red, white, blue, represent the atmosphere and the magic of the snow.
Finally, to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Half Cab, Vans designers have put Snoopy and his companions in canvas inserts, while on the tab label there is Spike wearing a hat with the characteristic black and white checkered pattern. The special version of the Classic Slip-On, created to tribute the friendship between Charlie Brown, Snoopy and Woodstock, is characterized by patches of sweaty fabric and the word 'Best Friends' on the punch.
