How has your everyday-life changed? What do you do to fulfill your day?

The biggest challenge is to re-think our daily routine, as we're closed between four walls; I tried to balance the needs of my mind with the instincts of my body, trying to not sacrifice my soul. That's how I tried to re-think of my daily life: given the fact that I was not supposed to leave my home, I turned it into the temple of this research. I take care of it, re-organize it, transform it. I think that our biggest privilege is that we're living in a place where we feel protected.

To help me think, I write down all of the things that I never managed to do: reading, films, researches - I'm not so good at cooking! Last week I went through the entire filmography of Pier Paolo Pasolini. This experience will be unforgettable, also because of him.

Your work is built on creativity. While we’re all in quarantine, what is your solution to keep on being creative? Where do you find your inspiration in this moment?

Creativity is a little magic. And we all need magic, don't we? Personally, it helps me staying with my feet on the ground, while I try to re-live it. I try to not make projects but to write down my ideas instead, as if I could make them come true tomorrow. The future is always a mystery, today more than ever.

What is your biggest fear right now?

My biggest fear is that not all of us will get the proper help: sanitary, economical and psychological. I feel very lucky. I think that each one of us should fight this fear the best he can, and we could do it by helping, giving and listening to other people.

What will you do once all of this is over?

I try to be aware of what's happening and to stay creative. I think that is the only way through which we can imagine our future.
