Trainspotting 2 is in the air

Trainspotting fans hold your breath. A sequel of your favourite movie could see the light in 2016, on the occasion of its 20^th anniversary.

Following the release of his latest movie, the biopic about Steve Jobs, director Danny Boyle declared his next project will be Trainspotting 2: "All the four main actors want to come back and do it. Now it is only a matter of getting all their schedules together which is complicated by two of them doing American TV series".

The sequel will be based on the novel Porno by Irvine Welsh (2002), which follows the life of the characters a decade after the happenings of Trainspotting, written by the same author, of which the movie is an adaptation.
