Cresciuta ascoltando Progressive Rock, non c'è da meravigliarsi se Sappho sia una collezionista di dischi.
Ha iniziato il suo viaggio nel mondo della musica elettronica nel 1991 quando frequenta il suo primo rave a Dallas, Texas, con il leggendario Deee-Lite.
Nel corso degli anni 90, si ritrova a ricercare dischi da collezionista, nei migliori negozi d' America ed è presente a tutti gli eventi del Pacific Northwest degli Stati Uniti.
Armata con la sua collezione di musica, nel 1999, Sappho ha fatto il salto, dal ballare alle feste a diventare DJ.
E 'una purista del vinile che porta sempre il suo amore per la musica nel dancefloor. La sua collezione di dischi è molto ampia vantando circa 10.000 vinili.
Sappho è un membro della Alga-Rhythms Collettive a Portland, Oregon, che ha avuto la bravura di portare artisti come Soul Clap, Tiger & Woods, Slow Hands, Tim Green, Tanner Ross, S.E.C.T., Claude Von Stroke, Christian Martin ed altri dal nord-ovest degli Stati Uniti.

Raised on a steady diet of Progressive Rock and musical facts, it's no wonder that Sappho is a consummate record collector.
She began her journey into the world of electronic music in 1991 when she attended her first rave in Dallas, Texas with the legendary Deee-Lite as the showstoppers. From that moment on, she was hooked.
Throughout the 1990s, you could usually find her scouring record stores looking for gems and in front of the speakers at events throughout the Pacific Northwest of the US.
Armed with her music collection, in 1999, Sappho made the jump from dancing party-goer to DJ. She’s a vinyl purist that always brings her love of great music to the dance floor. Her collection of records runs deep and at the current time numbers well over 10,000 in number.
Sappho is a member of the Alga-Rhythms collective in Portland, Oregon who are striving to bring inclusive amazing never been there before music related experiences and has been involved in bringing artists such as Soul Clap, Tiger & Woods, Slow Hands, Tim Green, Tanner Ross, S.E.C.T., Claude Von Stroke, Christian Martin and others to the northwest corner of the United States .
She is a resident DJ at Labworks, Portland's deep house after-hours purveyors' of fine music. She has also began dabbling into production work with her friend Tyler Morrison with their collaborative project Town and Country.
