Bottega Veneta brings Gaetano Pesce's Come Stai? to Miami An exhibition, a meeting with the artist and a limited edition book

After creating temporary site-specific artwork for Bottega Veneta's SS23 fashion show, artist and designer Gaetano Pesce return to collaborate with Matthieu Blazy. The occasion, this time, comes to coincide with the Design Miami event (Nov. 30-Dec. 04) where an exhibition will be presented with the opportunity to purchase a selection of the Come Stai?

Come Stai? is also a new book commissioned by Bottega Veneta with Gaetano Pesce and Matthieu Blazy. A limited edition publication reveals the concept, approach, and process of the collaboration, uncovering the many connections between Pesce and Blazy's creative practices and values. Contributions by Blazy and Maria Cristina Didero and an interview between Gaetano Pesce and Hans Ulrich Obrist document the origins of the project and its place in Pesce's large oeuvre. A lively selection of photographs by Stephen Shore and Sander Muylaert illustrates the development and production of the chair. The volume echoes the design of Come Stai? with an atypical profile reminiscent of the shape of the chair. It also has a cover inspired by the resin and canvas materials of the chairs. Just like the Come Stai? chairs and each book cover is unique.

A book signing with Gaetano Pesce will take place in Miami on Nov. 30 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the exhibition space at 153 NE 40th St, Miami
