How are you living the quarantine: fears and dreams?

I feel to live in a sort of a bubble right now because Thailand is a country where real news may be hidden easily by the government. How can Thailand have only 827 cases today on the 24/03? Private health care doesn’t help too, unfortunately. Besides this, we are into social distancing right now but mass people are not listening and that’s why from the 26/03 there will be a curfew and we will be allowed to gout out only from 7 am to 7 pm. Let’s see if this will help to flatten the COVID-19 curve.

Fears: as a business owner and Thai citizen, I’m worried about the recession that will happen in the next months. I’m also worried about my mom who’s 73yrs old and to be the cause of her death if I got sick because she’s in quarantine in my house in Bangkok now. I’m worried also about my brother who’s in Germany now with his 2 kids. He had really serious lunges problems when he was young and I’m worried I won’t be able to see him again.

Dreams: Once it will end, I hope people will be a better version of themselves and care more about the environment. To be able to fly abroad again and go straight to my brother house and spend all the time he wants with him. Being half Italian and having so many friends lockdown there makes me think on how to let them laugh a bit even if the situation is really bad so I came up with the idea to make a distancing dance group to let them release stress, laugh and have fun together for 1 hour a day and it’s working.

 

What is your soundtrack?

I always have new soundtracks in my life depending on where I am and what I’m doing. More than ever now I understand the meaning of: “When I’m happy I enjoy the music, when I’m sad I understand the lyrics”.
