After having explored the street style of Milan Fashion Week SS21, it's time to take a look at the sneaker game that marked these days of fashion shows.
Even when it comes to sneakers, Milan - and the fashion industry as a whole - is at a turning point. In fact, the evolution towards a more formal aesthetic is evident, in these images stand out logo loafers or mules with fur by Gucci or rubber boots by Bottega Veneta. There is no shortage of silhouettes that perfectly embody a new luxury imaginary, such as adidas by Raf Simons, Prada sneakers, trail boots by Acne Studios or the latest Balenciaga. Among the most loved sportswear brands that resist every transformation, Nike and above all Asics, a long-time industry leader, stand out.
