Good news for all the gourmet food's lovers around the world: two-Michelin-stars restaurant Noma in Copenaghen, guided by chef René Redzepi, re-opens after the period of lockdown. To face the COVID-19 pandemic, the restaurant reinvented itself as a wine and burger bar. The service is only take-away. No more reservations, that usually took months in advance. Prices are reasonable, too: a takeaway burger costs 125 Danish kroner (€12). They might seem still high, but they are not compared to the Danish standards and the restaurant's usual prices - the Noma's classic menu costs around 2.650 kroner (almost €250), so there is really nothing to complain about. 

Noma is a real institution when it comes to restaurants: it has been nominated four times the best restaurant in the world according to The World's 50 Best Restaurants by the magazine Restaurant, whilst it has been awarded two stars on the Michelin Guide. The location is suggestive: an old warehouse on the waterfront in the Christianshavn neighbourhood in central Copenhagen (the same artificial island where is located the Freetown Christiania). 

Our dream for this is to get people active, to start coming out again, said Redzepi; We wanted to come up with something to show everybody is welcome, which is why we decided on the mighty burger to open. The response has been incredible.

The wine/burger bar is just a pop up set in the backyard of the restaurant, while the official re-opening is scheduled in almost 2 months.
