New Nike Huarache e AF1 to celebrate QUAI 54 Two Nike iconic models get iridescent for the Parisian tournement

Streetball is a global phenomenon and France has long been a breeding ground for the game’s very best. To celebrate 2015’s QUAI 54 tournament, which takes place on the 13th and 14th of June in Paris’s Place de la Concorde, Nike has created two very special versions of basketball icons to join the QUAI 54 versions of the Air Jordan XX9, Air Jordan XIII Low and Nike Zoom LEBRON Soldier 9 LE that were revealed last week.

The Nike Air Flight Huarache PRM is the dynamic 1992 design that embodies the game’s sartorial switch to a new kind of swagger. Eric Avar and Tinker Hatfield’s unique exoskeletal approach to the hoops shoe altered ideas of what performance footwear could be, with reductionism at its core to create a minimalist masterpiece. This special QUAI 54 edition applies an iridescent treatment to the upper and gives the Air Flight Huarache a clear sole, but retains the classic design and ultimate cushioning, with the Air-Sole unit in a Phylon midsole, supportive neoprene bootie for a snug, comfortable fit.

Few shoes are as synonymous with the outdoor game as the legendary style and cushioning of the Nike Air Force 1. Introduced in 1982, this model embodies the soul of the game and decades of connoisseur culture. The Air Force 1 Hi CMFT PRM QUAI 54 brings a unique look to an ankle strapped street staple, with an iridescent upper and fan favorite “ice bottom” that both include a Parisian map to commemorate the location of one of the world’s biggest streetball events.

All shoes are available exclusively in Europe at nike.com and other selected retailers.

The Air Jordan XX9 QUAI 54 and Nike Zoom LEBRON Soldier 9 LE are available now.
