Perfect blue Tamara

Daniel Hurlin FW 2013 Collection Perfect blue Tamara

"Perfect Blue Tamara" seems to be the title of a painting, it seems to frame with three simple words a moment to remember. It’s, instead, the title of  Daniel Hurlin's collection, French designer and former assistant of Raf Simons, presented at the festival in Hyeres.

The sources of inspiration are elegant female figures portrayed by Tamara de Lempicka and the Japanese animated film " Perfect Blue " directed by Satoshi Kon. The works of these artists become subjects for prints, the protagonists of clothing. Lilies, hands, fragments of images adorn long coats, which, along with over -brimmed hats and architectural silhouette, offer to models on the runway a solemn and austere appearance. The colors, bright and vivid, soften the tone of the entire collection, giving it a touch of irreverence and lightness.     Hurlin mixes materials, playing with cuts, transparencies and overlays in search of his style.

The designer has an irreverent approach, seeks to create a bond between extremes and oppositions .

His fashion is certainly not for everyone, refrain insecure.
