Carhartt WIP's new SS22 campaign

A triumph of pastel colors for next season

Carhartt WIP's new SS22 campaign A triumph of pastel colors for next season

For the new campaign of the SS22 season, Carhartt WIP has collaborated with British photographer Elliot James Kennedy, who has signed a series of shots inspired by the pastel theme that dominates the collection. The campaign builds on kennedy's distinctive style, known for his portraits of the faces of British pop culture, from musicians and footballers to underground subcultures. Also for the campaign, Kennedy created a series of short video clips with a soundtrack made by Brian Nasty - a musician who is also among the protagonists of the campaign.

The focus of the pastel-themed collection remains on the great classics of Carhartt WIP, such as the Single Knee Pant and the Chore Coat – all items that follow the DIY theme of the collection. Disposable mobile phones, books and oversized chess pieces, as well as painted elements and details of the adhesive tape, continue this DIY aesthetic and analog style that are synonymous with Kennedy's style and the authenticity of Carhartt WIP.
