A scoprirli fu Trevor Jackson che li presentò al pubblico tramite l’etichetta Output, poi più nulla, dieci anni di assoluto silenzio, senza nessun concerto, e nessuna release...Oggi, i GRAMME sono tornati, con un album di tendenza e a detto loro molto affidabile.
La loro prima release risale al 1999 con una traccia (pronta già nel ‘97) che aveva dentro tutta la carica electro -punk-funk che qualche anno dopo sarebbe poi salita alla ribalta. “Propongono un suono troppo avanti per quest’epoca”, era questa l’affermazione della critica! Il brano, quel brano ebbe molti fans d'eccezione tra cui Joe Goddard (Hot Chip) che lo inserì nella famosa collection DJ Kicks su !K7 firmata HOT CHIP, e James Murphy che riconosce tutt'ora l'influenza, che le prime releases dei Gramme, hanno avuto sul suono della sua etichetta DFA.
Alla fine del 2002 subirono il blocco e decisero di fermarsi per divergenze artistiche e non solo... Ma oggi sono tornati più carichi che mai con 4 nuovi Ep e l'album Fascination [Tummy Touch 2013] uscito ad inizio anno con buoni risultati….ma intanto, la bella notizia è che sono già in studio per preparare un nuovo LP…Spirito di gruppo ritrovato!

Their first release was in 1999 with a track (already ready in '97), who had in charge the whole electro-punk-funk that some years later would later rose to prominence. At the end of 2002 suffered the block and decided to stop for artistic differences and not only ... But they have focused more loads than ever with 4 new Ep and the album Fascination [Tummy Touch 2013] came out earlier this year with good results .... but in the meantime, the good news is that they are already in the studio to prepare a new LP ... Spirit group found!
