The new issue of Pickles Magazine

Antonio Conte, the problem of racism, southern England football and much more

The new issue of Pickles Magazine Antonio Conte, the problem of racism, southern England football and much more

Founded in 2011, Pickles is an independent football magazine that celebrates the best of football culture and sheds light on the great stories and problems that transcend sport using design, typography and illustration to present the narrative in more engaging ways, in addition to having exceptional photographs.

The new issue features an illustration of the talented Michael Parkin on the cover and is full of quality content: publishers started working on this issue when the global pandemic was declared and football temporarily closed its doors, which is why the time to reflect on the role that the most beautiful game in the world plays in our lives has been remarkable.

The latest issue of Pickles focuses on football and politics and why they don't mix even though perhaps they should. There is also talk of Antonio Conte's reign at Inter and of past loyalty to Juventus, up to the continuous failure to face the problem of racism. In addition, a closer look at the football scene in south-west England is interviewed by interviewing Ian McMillan, Barnsley's Bard.

As always, Pickles recruits some of the best illustrators, photographers and artistic talents to tell these incredible stories. With illustrations by Chester Holme, Laurie Avon, Raj Dhunna and more.
