Pickles Magazine, Issue 13 The English mag comes back with a new format, more pages and so many football stories

Football is made by many unbelievable stories and one of these inspired Pickles Magazine’s name. In March of 1966, few months after the beginning of the World Cup in England, The Jules Rimet Trophy was stolen from the Methodist Central Hall, where it was exhibited for the football enthusiasts. A week after the theft, it was found in the south of London, in Upper Norwood, by a certain David Corbett and his dog Pickles, that became a proper national hero.

Here the inspiration behind the name of Pickles, a magazine born in 2011 that loves to talk about the culture around football, thanks to many pictures, issues, inquiries and much more. Talking about great champions but also about stories of unknown football heroes (just like Pickles) and ofter tales that transcend football and sport. Now it’s ready to come back with its Issue 13, which will be some sort of turning point for his renewed and more compact format, with more pages and so many football stories.

Pickles Magazine’s Issue 13 is a proper gold mine for football enthusiasts, with interviews, artworks, photographies, articles and stories. From Will Hughes’ words - a midfielder for Derby County - to the story of the Italian tradition of goalkeeping. All with the cover illustration by Gio Pastori, Italian artist and further reason of interest. Pickles Magazine defines this issue as a combination of N’golo Kante’s work rate and Eric Cantona’s mercurial swagger. With these premises, how not to be thrilled?
