Mauro Icardi x Nike Football custom jersey

For the 2018 Milan Design Week, Nike Football decided to launch Brothers of the World, a campaign that wants to celebrate Milan’s open and inclusive mindset, narrated through 40 years of Nike Football jerseys. Of course, the first thought has to go to Inter FC, the club that made a strength out of internationality since the first days of the club. The Swoosh tried to infuse the philosophy of Brothers of the World into the most iconic and important item of the Beautiful Game: the jersey. And of course, it did it with Mauro Icardi, Inter FC’s striker and captain.

For Brothers of the World, Icardi presented a special custom jersey realized in collaboration with Nike Football, that tells Mauro’s career and passions. The shirt has a black basis, with an interesting double-swoosh on the chest - one white, one grey - that looks like the one seen on Off-White x Vivendii Nigeria football jersey. On the chest, there’s a custom crest with MI9 initials, with the “M” that’s also placed vertically on the back.

The Mauro Icardi x Nike Football jerseys will be available from April 19 at NikeLab ST18, Slam Jam Milan, One Block Down and Nike’s Jersey Shop.
