As a non-runner I went to London to take part into the event for the presentation of the new Nike with Zoom technology. A 360° experience since the team not only made us look at the products: we could touch it and most of all wear it.
The models are four: Air zoom elite 8, Pegasus 32, Odyssey and Vomero 10. The technology of the shoes is very precise: more layers in the sole, more push, optimal performance.
As affirmed by Sebastian Tesche, designer of Nike running men’s line, “the difference between the faster runners of the planet and the ones that stay behind them is a matter of seconds” and these shoes will make the difference. We tested it by ourselves: after the press conference a motorboat took us in a closed tunnel of the London underground and our trip continued through the banks of river Thames.
Steve Cram, world champion for the 1500 meters, was right when he said that everyone who has a body can be an athlete. We completed the run successfully and as a reward at night we went out for dinner the Nike team and the athletes who took part in the convention.
