Prada brings “Satellites II” to New York The fourteenth edition of Prada Mode flies to the Big Apple
In June, at the Hotel Chelsea in New York, Prada will present Satellites II, the fourteenth edition of Prada Mode, in collaboration with Nicolas Winding Refn and Hideo Kojima. The event, scheduled over several days and coinciding with the Tribeca Festival, is conceived as an extension of the exhibition Satellites presented at Prada Aoyama in Tokyo in 2025, focused on the dialogue between love, language and creativity between the two artists. Satellites II transforms the Hotel Chelsea into an immersive space that intertwines installations and performances, bringing public and private spaces into relation through a science fiction aesthetic, between the romantic iconography of the Hotel Chelsea and other renowned New York locations.
Other areas of the hotel will host installations centered on the continuous dialogue and the obsessions of Refn and Kojima. The final result will be an unforgettable cosmic journey told through the connection, inspiration and friendship between these two artists. Prada Mode New York will offer a cultural program with talks, concerts, live performances and a reinterpretation of television formats. During the first two days of the event, a selected group of guests will be invited to stay at the hotel, which will be transformed into a private club, where dinners and events will take place. In the last three days, from 5 to 7 June, the event will be open to the public and will extend to other venues across the city with dedicated installations, screenings, artist talks and a special gastronomic program.
