5 things to do in Milan this weekend From September 12 till 14

The buzz, the energy, and even a touch of madness are back: with the start of autumn, Milan comes alive again, bringing with it a series of new openings that, thanks to summer, had gone a bit unnoticed. With the return to city life, this week’s rain has swept away the last remnants of summer heat, making way for milder temperatures; in fact, this weekend’s forecast shows highs around 23° and a few scattered clouds. Before the chaos of the coming weeks begins with the upcoming Milan Fashion Week, these days will be the perfect chance to enjoy the city to the fullest. And as every week, nss magazine’s column returns: 5 things to do in Milan this weekend.

To Eat – Saya Pizza

Just a stone’s throw from the Colonne di San Lorenzo, Saya Pizza quietly opened in August, a new spot where Neapolitan pizza meets natural wines. In a cozy setting, the menu ranges from traditional flavors to unexpected combinations, like caramelized onion and cooked ham, promising to make it one of the city’s new "places to be."

To Chill – ERIS

The creative agency Studio Pesca has decided to step into the restaurant world with ERIS, a new café in the heart of Porta Venezia. Specialty coffee and Nordic pastries make it perfect for a Sunday breakfast, but also for a Saturday aperitivo thanks to a meticulously curated wine list. Completing the offer is a small showcase dedicated to pop-ups of emerging brands.

After a short break, the pop-up of Veins Books is back, the project by Nicola Bortoletto that combines a passion for subcultures and publishing in an itinerant bookstore.
