C2C Festival 2025 will be a tribute to founder Sergio Ricciardone

Turin is preparing to host the twenty-third edition of the C2C Festival, an event that this year takes on a special significance. "Per aspera ad astra" (through hardships to the stars) is the theme chosen for 2025, a heartfelt tribute to the festival's founder and director Sergio Ricciardone, who passed away three weeks ago. His pioneering vision left an indelible mark on Italian and international music: the upcoming edition of C2C, scheduled from October 30 to November 2, aims to carry on his legacy. The OGR Torino will host events on Thursday and Sunday, while the historic Lingotto Fiere will be the beating heart of Friday and Saturday nights.

C2C looks to the present and continues to push the boundaries of avant-pop. To date, twenty-one international artists have been announced, six of whom were revealed in the last few hours. Among them, the English multi-instrumentalist Daniel Blumberg, fresh from winning an Oscar for the soundtrack of The Brutalist, who will perform exclusively in Italy on October 30. Joining him in the lineup are Florence Sinclair, Isabella Lovestory, Jenny Hval, Malibu, and the band YHWH Nailgun. The program also includes special performances, shrouded in mystery and marked by C2C with an enigmatic ?. These will be unique performances, intimate and powerful celebrations in memory of Ricciardone, featuring outstanding figures from the contemporary art scene. Furthermore, additional initiatives to honor his visionary spirit will be unveiled in the coming weeks, and on May 9, 2025, the C2C Festival NYC will debut at the Knockdown Center during the Frieze New York Art Week.
