During Fuorisalone Maison Armani is opening its historic headquarters to the public A unique access to the frescoes of Palazzo Orsini

From 18 to 23 April, during the event Salone del Mobile 2023, Armani's historic headquarters will be unveiled to the public. On an exceptional occasion, it will be possible to take a peek at the glorious rooms inside Palazzo Orsini, in Via Borgonuovo. The piano nobile will showcase the great frescoes and precious furniture, and the secret garden will host a presentation of the latest Armani Casa collection.

Built in the second half of the 17th century, Palazzo Orsini originated as a noble house. It has been inhabited over the past centuries by three families: the Secco-Borella, who began its construction, the Orsini, from whom the palace takes its name, and then the Spanish princes Pio, who in the mid 19th century commissioned Luigi Clerichetti to design the neoclassical façade, still part of the building today. The fashion house Giorgio Armani S.p.A. has lived in Palazzo Orsini since 1996, a sign of the bond that has always woven the fashion house's DNA with the city of Milan. In the past, the palazzo has been open to the public on a few occasions, such as for the FAI Days, and for a couple of events dedicated to fashion and the city, Apritimoda and Cortili Aperti. In 2017, the frescoes depicting the motif Amore Trionfante (1787) by Andrea Appiani were used for the Mistero Haute Couture collection, presented in Paris during Fashion Week FW18.
