London Collections Men starts tomorrow, the first fashion appointment of the year to which Pitti Uomo and the Milan, Paris and New York shows will follow. Between a runway show, a presentation and a cocktail party, there are many places (out of calendar) which are worth a visit once you get to the British capital. We selected five. Check them out here:
Cereal Killer Café: if you want to avoid the classic (heavy) British breakfast made of eggs, beans and bacon, that’s the right place for you. 120 different types of cereals coming from all over the world and a wide selection of drinks to have with. Dover Street Market: the multi brand store founded by Comme Des Garçons’ Rei Kawakubo is an international reference for sought after clothing and accessories. Serpentine Gallery: until February 14, the space hosts Transcience, an exhibition which gathers the works of British artist Micheal Craig-Martin and explores the recent shift from analogic to digital. The Garden Café: sun is rare in London, in order not to miss any ray of sunlight during these winter days we suggest you have youR 5 pm tea under a lovely glass structure at Brown Hart Gardens. The café is located on a little above-ground square very close to Selfridges and Oxford Street, with an amazing view over the most elegant apartments of the city. Shoreditch House: opened in 2007, this hotel/bar/club has been obtained from an old warehouse on three levels in the heart of East London. Today it is a members-only club (only 1000 per year) who pay annually 700£ to join this exclusive community.
