NikeLab and Colette celebrate Maria Sharapova’s Return With Collaboration
The sportswear brand and the Parisian boutique rielaborate two iconic sneakers: NikeCourt Zoom Vapor 9 Tour and NikeCourt Tennis Classic.
The first shoe, which will be worn by the Russian tennis player at the next French Open, is designed to combine comfort and breathability. Introduced for the first time in 2012, the NikeCourt Zoom Vapor 9 Tour is now enriched with details and polka dots in the classic Colette blue, but also with the logo of Maria Sharapova positioned on the back of the left foot, five different symbols to make the midsole tribute to his five major championships and with the words "I'm not the next anyone, I am the first Maria Sharapova" in the insole.
The NikeCourt Tennis Classic is the traditional style of tennis. Popular among the big stars has a simple design with a soft leather upper and insole sponge that provide high comfort.
For Colette this model is made of premium leather, with degradË strings, from dark blue to white, and with the famous double dot logo of Colette on the heel.
The collection tribute to Maria Sharapova will be available from 21 May.
