Converse has officially announced the launch of its second collaboration with the French fashion house Maison Martin Margiela.
The new collection Converse First String Maison Martin Margiela expands its original concept of two new silhouette: Chuck Taylor All Star Hi and Jack Purcell Ox 1970s, new canvas to paint made from a soft premium leather.
The layer of white paint highlights the simple beauty of the house's iconic Converse shoe. The more the sneakers you consume, the more the paint will loosen its grip, revealing and bringing to life the hidden color, all decorated by the French fashion house's minimalist logo printed on the tongue.
The collection will be available at select retailers, from May 23.
