Take 55DSL, the brand of streetwear as know as the Diesel spin-off, Birkenstock, the legendary brand of sandals and Aaron De La Cruz, an artist from San Francisco. Put them together and add a little of Arkitip, an Art publisher of Los Angeles. Mix all and you'll get an extraordinary joint venture which sees the creation of a special edition Birkenstock Monterey custom sandals. All black, with splashes of white paint applied by hand, metal buckles and logos of the brands of the collaboration etched in the plant.
And that's not all, besides the sandals it's has been created a series of t-shirts and sweatshirts graffiti-pattern that only a fool could miss.
It's a really interesting collaboration because it combines four subjects who actively promote emerging talents, creativity and the quality of the products.
