D.A.T.E. rediscovers its roots with the second chapter of Vendemmia CHIANTISHIRE brings Tuscany from Florence to Rome and Milan
For D.A.T.E., Tuscany has never been merely a geographical origin. It is a perspective, a sensibility, a reservoir of images and atmospheres that the brand continues to reinterpret season after season. From this deep sense of belonging comes Vendemmia, the project through which D.A.T.E. celebrates its ties to the region through one of the most authentic rituals of Tuscan culture: the grape harvest. In 2026, Vendemmia enters its second chapter and expands, for the first time bringing together all three of the brand's single-label stores in Florence, Rome and Milan, and opening up a travelling narrative of territory, conviviality and cultural cross-pollination with its audience.
At the heart of it all is CHIANTISHIRE, the FW26 collection, which does not merely reference Chianti but translates it into a contemporary visual world. Palettes inspired by rolling hillside landscapes, tactile materials and textures, silhouettes and pairings that bring the essence of a region into the present without reducing it to folklore. In this vision, the harvest becomes a moment of sharing: simple gestures, chance encounters, laden tables, music and wine. A seasonal ritual that D.A.T.E. brings into its own spaces, transforming them into places of exchange.
The Vendemmia 2026 journey got underway on 15 October in Rome, where the D.A.T.E. store transformed into a hub of encounter and creativity, with CHIANTISHIRE in conversation with Tuscan wine, music and the convivial atmosphere typical of harvest time. The Rome event marked the official opening of the project and set the stage for the dates to follow. On 22 October, the journey moves to Milan, during the ninth edition of Milano Wine Week, running from 17 to 25 October. The new chapter of Vendemmia will take place at the brand's Brera store, where CHIANTISHIRE will once again take centre stage, accompanied by Tuscan wine and music from Sally Bumps, in collaboration with Radio Leila.
On the same day, Vendemmia will also return to the brand's Florence store with an event that will ideally bring the circle to a close across all three single-label locations, returning to the source and completing the story. At the same time, the return to Florence is also intended to continue presenting Tuscany not as a nostalgic postcard, but as a living source of inspiration capable of speaking to an international audience through experiences of sharing, culture and style.
