Everything that happened at the nss France x Carte Noire party An event conceived as an extension of the book Paris Noir
As Paris Fashion Week gets into full swing, the hustle and bustle of the runway shows took a creative pause in the heart of the 2nd arrondissement. Set in the exclusive backdrop of The Hoxton hotel, nss France invited its readers, collaborators, and closest friends to celebrate the release of its new print edition, titled Paris Noir.
This volume marks the final installment of a trilogy launched three years ago when the Italian media outlet first established itself in the French capital. Creative-directed by Étienne Russo, this coffee-table book brings together key figures of contemporary culture - from the iconic Michèle Lamy to the avant-garde duo Matières Fécales (Hannah Rose and Steven Raj), alongside renowned sound designer Michel Gaubert. Much more than just a book, Paris Noir serves as a true manifesto dedicated to the alternative personalities shaping Parisian fashion.
To mark the end of this foundational chapter, nss France teamed up with Carte Noire for a bespoke collaboration. Throughout the evening, the historic brand took over the venue to deliver an experience built around the concept of Noir - an extension of the Paris Noir editorial universe. Guests were treated to a signature Espresso Martini crafted from Carte Noire’s iconic coffee and brewed using the brand's new Aroma Signature coffee machine, paired with a curated "black pairing" selection of finger food. An experience designed to fuel conversations between shows.
For those who couldn’t pick up a copy during the event, Paris Noir remains available for order online at nss edicola.
