Come for Breakfast SS 2013 Collection

Dopo New York è la volta di Parigi. La Fashion Week di Come for Breakfast è stata piuttosto lunga ma piena di successi sia per la sua nuova collezione autunno/inverno 2013/14 presentata durante la settimana della moda newyorchese e sia per la fiera Capsule Show a Parigi, alla quale il brand ha preso parte molto attivamente. 

Il brand non sbaglia un colpo e lo dimostra l’attuale collezione primavera/estate 2013. Una collezione che costituisce il continuum di quell’idea di mix perfetto tra tessuti pregiati e soluzioni urban streetwear; un concetto al quale il duo milanese è fortemente attaccato. Forme over e destrutturate sono il filo conduttore di uno stile che, pur differenziando i capi uomo e donna, è caratteristicamente androgino. Le cromie restano sempre sul binomio urban grigio/bianco, anche se, con stupore, vengono spesso inseriti colori pastello come rosa o celestino chiarissimi, ai quali vengono poi abbinati grafismi e sovrapposizioni a contrasto. Un gioco bicolor di strati che, sia per l’uomo che per la donna, da’ consistenza a quell’arte tutta Come for Breakfast di donare una vestibilità urban ed un allure chic. 

After New York, Come for Breakfast lands in Paris. This month’s fashion weeks have been very long but very successful for the duo who presented their A/W 2013/14 collection in New York and a special capsule collection during the Capsule Show in Paris earlier this month. 

The brand doesn’t miss a shot and the current Spring/Summer 2013 collection proves it very well. A collection that can be seen as the natural continuum of the brand’s idea of the perfect mix between quality textures and urban streetwear solutions. A concept to which the Milan duo seems to be very devoted to. Oversize and destructured shapes  are the very leitmotiv of a style that,, in spite of separating  Menswear and Womenswear, is genuinely androgynous. Urban colours such as grey and white are, as usual, paired together, even though this time, surprisingly, pastels like light pink and blue enter the chromatic scene, along with graphic elements and contrast layerings. A playful bi-color game that, both for menswear and womenswear, strongly reconfirms Come for Breakfast’s: makinng urban fitting clothing with a chic allure.
