Supreme has remade Bottega Veneta's woven bag Obviously in total red

It is called the Supreme Woven Large Tote Bag, according to rumors it will cost $158 and, well, it is the streetwear version of a model made famous by Bottega Veneta. Produced in three colors (red, white and black) the voluminous bag seems to have piqued the interest of the brand's community, and it would not be far-fetched to say that the early popularity of the accessory will lead us to see it around this summer-especially at the beach. But the real question is, has Supreme really imitated Bottega Veneta? The answer is "maybe."

Since the revamp of Bottega Veneta and after the change in creative direction that saw Matthieu Blazy take the helm of the brand, woven bags have suddenly become very popular. But virtually no other luxury brands have made inroads into what is the quintessential domain of the Kering brand, and imitations have proliferated below the luxury market among brands such as Borbonese, Furla, Guess, Liu Jo but also through numerous Amazon brands. Now that Supreme has cleared them through customs, we may soon see many of them in the upcoming collections of popular streetwear brands.
