This morning, the iconic Maison Chanel logo appeared on a black background on Timothée Chalamet's Instagram profile, accompanied by a cryptic caption made up of acronyms: CC X TC OTW ('Coco Chanel x Timothée Chalamet on the way' perhaps?), giving hope to those who would like to see more than just a perfume ad for this collaboration. Just last month, the actor and Oscar-winning director Martin Scorsese set the internet abuzz with photos of them together on the set of the new ad campaign for Chanel Bleu.

It's certainly a busy time for the two: Chalamet has just finished shooting Dune: Part Two and the musical Wonka, a prequel to The Chocolate Factory, and will soon get to work on the Bob Dylan biopic. Scorsese, on the other hand, has just finished editing Killers of the Flower Moon, which he will present at the next Cannes Film Festival. In the photos and videos, we see Chalamet in a white tank top and dark trousers, looking out the window of a typical New York flat; Scorsese peeks out from behind him, in a pause between takes. It is not yet known whether the collaboration will be limited to advertising the perfume or will also include clothing, but the actor's fan base, which is comparable to that of K-pop stars, has been quick to express its excitement on social media, sending social views skyrocketing not only for Chanel Bleu but also for other products from the brand.
