Moncler will no longer use furs in his collections The brand's commitment to the environment continues

Moncler has renewed the good intentions of the new year by presenting the second Moncler Born To Protect collection and at the same time has announced that it will eliminate fur from all its collections, in the wake of the constructive dialogue started with the Italian animal rights association LAV as representative of the Fur Free Alliance. The latest collection with garments with fur will be Autumn-Winter 2023, a decision that reflects Moncler's ongoing commitment to adopt increasingly responsible business practices while looking to the future of the environment. The collection, made entirely with low environmental impact materials, in addition to jackets includes different types of garments and accessories for men, women and children. The materials used for the fabrics and other components include recycled nylon and polyester, organic cotton and other raw materials such as wool and feathers certified according to specific sustainability standards.

The garments are externally characterized by the Moncler Born To Protect writing while inside the iconic Monduck duck appears, which has distinguished the brand's jackets since the 60s, as well as being the protagonist of a comic that describes the spirit and approach of the collection to sustainable materials. Even the packaging, as well as that of all the lines of the brand, is made with sustainable materials: the shopping bags and gift boxes are made of recycled paper and paper from responsibly managed forests, the handles are in organic cotton, the clothes hangers are made from recycled plastic bottles. At Moncler, what began as a real mission to protect from the cold, has evolved over the years to become a promise to protect the planet. The collection is accompanied by an exclusive video in which 'recycled' archive footage alternates with extraordinary Alpine images that celebrate Moncler's DNA, its bond with the mountains and the need for a shared commitment to a sustainable future. The poster of the collection is stamped on the images: “Moncler Born To Protect. Our promise to the future begins today, with the firm will to create a better tomorrow and to protect people and the planet ”.

The new Moncler Born To Protect collection is available on moncler.com and in a selection of Moncler boutiques. All information on Moncler's sustainable initiatives can be found at the link.
