Dior will present its new collection on Twitch

Among the many changes imposed by the Covid-19 pandemic on the fashion world, there was the need to completely rethink the way to present collections to the general public. Dior is in fact only the latest brand to choose an "alternative" way to present a new collection, choosing Twitch as the platform to host the streaming show that will present the new Fall 2021 Men collection.

A choice that follows what Celine had made, who had chosen TikTok for her The Dancing Kid, or Burberry had always chosen Twitch as the platform for her show. Courageous choices, but in many ways more conservative than what Gucci did with its Guccifest and Chanel with its show for the Métiers d’Art collection. Last in chronological order, Balenciaga, who used a videogame created for the occasion to present its FW21 collection.

The appointment for the Dior show is set for December 8 at 14:00 CET on the brand's Twitch channel.
