Versace presents the new 2Chain Reaction sneaker

When it comes to the luxury brands new found love over the last couple of years for designing sneakers, few are doing it as well and interestingly as Versace. Employing the innovative and forward thinking prowess of designer Salehe Bembury, his Chain Reaction shoes have changed the game of luxury sneaker wear and his designs keep on evolving in very interesting ways. Since its inception, Salehe has also very fittingly been working with the US rapper 2Chainz on special editions of the shoe. Versace now presents the latest edition of the new 2Chain Reaction sneaker born out of the collaboration. This limited edition combines the DNA of the legendary Italian fashion house with the unmistakable style of the extravagant hip-hop star.
The 2Chain Reaction exhibits some of the iconic elements of the Versace Chain Reaction, the unmistakable chain link sole, the ancient Greek inspired aesthetic and toe detailing written in braille. While sporting some new innovative updates, such as the new tab with croc neoprene padding and the double-locking hinge that heightens the shoes hi-top silhouette.
This limited edition will be sold with a new packaging and exclusively for the American market available alongside an activewear capsule designed by 2Chainz himself. The collaboration will be presented for the first time in a pop-up store within the Wish Gallery, Atlanta from 1 to 3 February. The sneakers will be available in the Phipps Plaza boutique starting from same week, and available in select Versace stores and online at the Versace site from February 8th.
