The new Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli team training uniforms

Few sports expose athletes to the forces of nature like sailing, knowing how to steer them and at the same time offer maximum performance is certainly the most interesting aspect of the collections that the various crews present on the eve of major events. Among these events is certainly the America's Cup, the oldest trophy in the history of the sport, now in its 37th edition, which will be contested in Barcelona between August and September 2024. Team Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli is also preparing for the event and will take part in the preliminary regatta in Vilanova (Spain) and Saudi Arabia with new training uniforms, co-developed with The Woolmark Company. 

Among the garments in the new Merino wool collection are t-shirts, hoodies, shorts, leggings, a cycling tracksuit, a waterproof jacket and an ultra-light windbreaker designed to protect from the wind and at the same time allow breathability. The study of fibers related to sailing is one of the aspects that make this sport even more fascinating. It involves the participation of technologically advanced boats, combining innovation and that fascination for freedom that is complemented by the sea and sailing as in a few other disciplines.
