Soon the Premier League, the world's most watched football league, will have its own Drive To Survive, Netflix's behind-the-scenes docuseries about the Formula 1 World Cup. The great success in fact of the format, which has brought attention back to a sport that was losing appeal in recent years, prompted the English league to enter into a dialogue with the production company "Box To Box Films" run by producers James Gay-Rees and Paul Martin. The two were responsible for the TV series "Make Us Dream" about former Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard and "The Kings," devoted to boxing welterweights. The productions included behind-the-scenes footage of team interviews and training sessions, as well as exclusive interviews with players and coaches following a tried-and-true model.

This is something the Premier League has been pursuing for years and is increasingly distancing it from its European counterparts.
