As interest in football jerseys and the related market is reaching one of its highest peaks, the trend is also beginning to spread across the Web3 thanks to NFTs and digital collectibles. Digital sports fashion platform Fancurve, which works through a blockchain system, has announced the first collaboration between a European soccer club to produce wearable virtual jerseys for fans. It is Real Betis Balompié, fresh winners of the Copa del Rey, which through this innovative agreement will be able to guarantee its fans an offer made up of unique and customizable collections. The first of the Betis-inspired kits will be distributed on June 7, 2022, marking Fancurve's debut in the club's themed collections.

An initiative that opens a great possibility for team merchandising, launching it into a new dimension and confirming how Web3 will soon become integral in the life of clubs. In fact, the Betis jersey collection will be officially licensed and sold exclusively on the Fancurve platform, which will allow buyers to show off or resell their virtual items through the use of photorealistic avatars and customized locker rooms, as well as benefit from a series of interactive features with exclusive benefits for the club.

The photorealistic jerseys were designed by Fancurve's team of highly skilled 3D designers. This collection is a limited series of unique and exclusive jerseys that feature several distinct designs with varying levels of rarity, starting with the Onyx jersey that costs 40 euros and was created to celebrate this successful season on the pitch using the beautiful city of Seville, its unique culture, architecture and famous Feria festival as inspiration.

Fans can purchase the jerseys on Fancurve website, here, just as they would a physical jersey in the official Betis store.
